Find the road
for today’s work.
Connect Intervals.icu. Open today’s workout. See the nearby training grounds where its work blocks can actually happen.
The missing connection
The training platform knows what. The map knows where.
Recon connects the two. It is not a general route planner. It looks for the physical ground that gives a structured workout enough uninterrupted time, the right gradient and a practical way to recover or turn.
How it works
From workout to ground.
- 01
Read today’s work
Recon reads the planned outdoor cycling workout from Intervals.icu and reduces it to block duration, recovery and intensity.
- 02
Find suitable ground
Nearby corridors are compared for continuous riding time, gradient, surface, crossings, turns and direction.
- 03
Point to the road
The map shows a small number of understandable choices and explains why each one may work.
- 04
Learn after the ride
Later versions compare the plan with what actually happened and retain only derived road evidence under separate permission.
First release
Narrow by design.
Recon initially supports steady outdoor work blocks between roughly four and thirty minutes: tempo, sweet spot, threshold and longer VO₂ efforts on road or firm gravel.
Sprints, 30/15s, technical MTB, navigation and automatic full-loop generation remain outside the first product.
Current proof
Aarhus roads.
Reviewed on the ground.
The owner preview uses OpenStreetMap road and elevation data plus hand-reviewed candidate labels. Personal activity-derived evidence is separate, off by default and controlled by its own permission.
