Operator and agreement

Échapper is an independent cycling lab operated by Andreas Svane. These terms apply when you create an Échapper account, connect a data source or use Training Companion. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

The service

Training Companion connects your Intervals.icu account to compatible AI clients through the Model Context Protocol. It can retrieve relevant training context and, in supported write-capable clients including ChatGPT developer mode, prepare a specific action for you to review and approve. The optional read-only addresses remain restricted; full access does not give blanket permission to make changes.

Échapper is free: 0 DKK, with no payment card, subscription or paid tier. It is not offered to advertise or sell another paid Échapper product. Public signup opens after Intervals.icu approves the application.

Your account, consent and permissions

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account and connect only an Intervals.icu account you are authorised to use. You choose the permissions granted to Échapper.

Because connected training and wellness data may reveal health information, you must explicitly consent before the connection starts. You can withdraw consent for future processing by disconnecting Intervals.icu. Features that need the source will then stop working.

AI output and your responsibility

AI-generated explanations, recommendations and proposed changes can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. You remain responsible for checking source data, assumptions, current conditions and the exact proposed action before relying on an answer or approving a change.

Échapper is not medical care and does not replace a qualified coach, doctor or other health professional. Do not use it for emergencies or as the sole basis for health, safety, diagnosis or treatment decisions.

Approval controls

A read action does not change Intervals.icu. Supported write actions first return a preview. Échapper accepts only the unchanged action covered by a valid, short-lived, single-use approval. Destructive actions require an additional confirmation.

These controls reduce unintended changes but cannot guarantee that an AI client will explain a proposal correctly or that every connected service will always return accurate information. Review the source after an important action.

Connected services

Intervals.icu and each AI provider are independent services with their own terms, availability and data practices. Échapper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intervals.icu, Anthropic, OpenAI or Garmin. A provider can change or remove access, and a provider outage can make part of Échapper unavailable.

Use of the Intervals.icu API is subject to its API Terms and Conditions.

Garmin attribution

Intervals.icu data may originate from Garmin devices. When a result contains Garmin attribution, you and the receiving AI client must preserve that attribution in answers, dashboards, reports, exports, screenshots and other derived output. Where supplied, the Garmin device model must remain visible; where the model is unavailable, Garmin must remain identified as the source or a contributing source.

Do not remove, hide or imply an endorsement beyond the attribution. Garmin remains an independent third party.

Your data and permitted use

You retain your rights in data from your connected accounts and in material you submit. You give Échapper only the permission necessary to process that material for your requested use of the service, security and legal compliance.

Do not use Échapper to access another person’s data without permission, circumvent access controls, probe or overload the service, distribute malicious content, misrepresent data attribution or violate applicable law or a connected service’s terms.

Échapper materials

The Échapper name, site design, original writing and service software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy or present Échapper as your own service, except for ordinary use of the product and links to public pages.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with connected-service requirements or improve the product. Material changes to these terms will be dated and, where appropriate, shown before they take effect. We aim to operate the service reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted, permanent or error-free availability.

Ending use

You can disconnect Intervals.icu or delete your Échapper account from Settings. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or connected platforms, comply with law or respond to a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason.

Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by law, Échapper is provided without implied warranties, and the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by an AI-generated answer, inaccurate source data, user-approved action or unavailable third-party service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from intent or gross negligence where applicable.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Danish law, without removing mandatory protections you may have as a consumer in your country of residence. Please send a concern to Andreas Svane at support@echapper.cc first so it can be addressed directly. You remain free to use any court, authority or complaint route available under mandatory law.
